We do not ship our delicate Chihuahua puppies via cargo. They travel safely and comfortably in the cabin of the airplane, accompanied by a professional human escort every step of the way.
How Our Pet Nanny Service Works
The Pet Nanny Service ensures continuous, personal care for your puppy from our hands to yours:
- Personalized Escort: A dedicated pet nanny accompanies your puppy for the entire journey. Your puppy is never alone and is always kept in the climate-controlled passenger cabin.
- Continuous Care: The nanny monitors your puppy’s comfort, provides necessary potty breaks (when appropriate outside the airport terminal), and offers food and water. They provide the affection and reassurance needed during travel.
- Direct Delivery: The nanny will meet you directly at your nearest major airport that offers this service. This is a secure, face-to-face transfer, where you and your puppy are introduced.
- Hassle-Free Process: We handle all the coordination, flight bookings, and health certificate requirements related to the transport, making the process simple and transparent for you.
Shipping Costs and Details
Due to the personalized nature of this service, there is an additional fee for Pet Nanny Shipping.
- Standard Fee: The typical cost for our Pet Nanny service is $500.
- What is Included: This fee covers the nanny’s round-trip airfare, the in-cabin pet fee charged by the airline, the professional nanny service fee, and the airline-approved travel carrier that you get to keep.
- Booking: Shipping arrangements and full payment for the service are handled after your puppy reservation is finalized and they have been cleared for travel by our veterinarian.
Traveling Requirements
For the safety of our small breed, puppies must be a certain age and size to travel:
- Age: Puppies must be at least 10-12 weeks of age and fully weaned.
- Health Clearance: Your puppy must receive a travel clearance and a current health certificate from our veterinarian just prior to departure.
