Puppy Reservation & Deposit Information

Thank you for taking the exciting step toward reserving your new family member! The deposit process formalizes your commitment and secures your chosen puppy, ensuring they are held exclusively for you until they are ready to go home.

How to Reserve Your Puppy

The first step is always to complete our Puppy Application and receive approval. Once you are approved and a specific puppy is available and ready for reservation, a deposit is required.

  • Deposit Amount: The non-refundable deposit is between $500 and $2500 per puppy.
  • Purpose: This amount is deducted directly from the final purchase price of your puppy. For example, if the final price is $2,500, your remaining balance due at pick-up is $2,500 minus the deposit.
  • Timing: The deposit must be received within 24 hours of verbal or written agreement to reserve a puppy. If the deposit is not received, the puppy may be offered to the next approved family.

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

By submitting a deposit, you agree to our strict policy that all deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

We rely on your commitment to reserve a puppy for you, and we immediately turn away other interested families. If you decide to cancel your reservation for any reason—including a change in family circumstances, moving, financial changes, or simply changing your mind—the deposit will be retained by Tiny Chihuahua Puppies to compensate for the time and marketing costs associated with holding and re-homing the puppy.

Transferring a Deposit

We understand that unexpected life events can occur. We may, at our sole discretion, allow a one-time transfer of your deposit to another available puppy or a future litter within one calendar year.

  • This option is only available for unforeseen, justifiable circumstances, and is not guaranteed.
  • If you choose to transfer, you forfeit your claim to the originally reserved puppy.
  • If you do not reserve a new puppy within the one-year period, the deposit is forfeited.

Final Payment

The remaining balance of the puppy’s purchase price is due upon pick-up.

  • Payment Methods: We accept bank wire transfer, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal
  • No Personal Checks: For security purposes, we do not accept personal checks for final payment.
  • Timing: Final payment must be made in full at the time you take your puppy home (or prior to the Pet Nanny’s departure, if shipping).
